They Made It

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

A friend of mine in Las Vegas sent me this passage and we are praying this over my mom and dad today.

So many of you are calling and emailing me on a daily basis asking for updates or to help us with prayers, encouragement and loving support. I thought that it might be best to create this blog to keep you updated.

As you know, my mother’s cancer has metastasized into her blood stream and at 59 years of age she has been told by her doctor that they have no other treatment options available according to standard medicine and chemotherapy. We believe that God can heal her completely and that is what we are praying for.

Yesterday, I put mom and dad on a plane for San Diego where they were picked up and transported to Mexico for non-traditional treatment. We were very worried about the length of the flight and the transportation, but dad called to tell me that it was super! He said that there were tons of extra seats on the plane and that they both got their own rows and were able to rest the whole way. My mom’s legs were fine and no additional swelling or pain. Thanks for praying and praise the Lord that He answered those prayers.

Brian,
I praise God for this blog! I have been so anxious for any word on how it was going in Mexico. I had such a peace about this mission for your mom and dad. This is just more mission work for your dad. He is there to witness for the Lord...witness a miracle!!
Dave and Jane,
My prayers are with you consistently and constantly! God is the divine healer. He placed Dr. Perez in your lives for a reason! He gave him the wisdom that he needs to make you better. Believe. Take a moment to read over James 1:2 and following. Trials are put in our lives for a reason. This little set back that Jane has had in America could have been just so she can witness a miracle at the hands of God! What a priviledge and honor!
I love you guys and your family so much!
Prayerfully yours,
Tami Smith
